<description>Our son was just one week old when we noticed that he
wasn&#039;t holding his milk down, after almost every feed he
would vomit, even after we burped him and put him down
to sleep. We were very worried that our baby was in pain
because he would draw his legs up towards his chest and
make an awful uncomfortable noise. We were also concerned
about his nutrition. The vomiting was becoming worse.
After many trips to doctors and hospitals, our son was diagnosed
with infant reflux. We did not particularly like the idea of putting
our son on a possible long term drug solution but felt we had
no choice as we needed some relief for our son.
We contacted child health services and were told the only option
that they knew of was telephone books under the bassinette/
cot wheels, an adult pillow to help prop up the bassinette or
medication. We were not happy with any of these solutions,
apart from being highly impractical we felt that the options
available were not what we wanted for our little baby boy.By 7 weeks we had introduced him to reflux medications as
we felt we had no other choice. Our son seemed to respond
well to the medicine but still this solution for us wasn’t ideal.
and we were not happy that the only solution was a chemical
one. My sister Sally and I set out on a mission to find a better
solution to this distressing condition to try and reduce the
need for medication.

Our aim was simple. To design and build a solution for reflux,
cold and flu symptoms and colic for children to ensure they
could get some rest and reduce vomiting as much as possible.
After years of product research, design, development and
rigorous testing, we entered the market.
